Eat Me

Everyone who reads this knows by now that I'm a bookworm. What you may not know is that I am an unrepentant foodie. Seriously. There is nothing I enjoy more than well-prepared food. Tim and I are going to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival in the upcoming weeks.

I've been reading the menu and weeping softly in anticipation.

The first thing I thought of when I saw your post was "Little Shop Of Horrors," though I believe the little plant keeps saying "feed me."

You have to try Tangredi's, an Italian restauant in my hood. I just got some food to go, and it was wonderful. Their sauces are well made, as well as their honey mustard dressing. The owners are from New York, and make that *real* Italian food.

BTW, have you and Tim eaten at Sitar's? I haven't heard you mention Indian food. I also know a gem of a place for Thai on West End. When I get to feeling better, we have to go on a tour of West End area eateries and hit the ethnic places.

Okay. That's it. We need to have official Blogger Dining Events.

Sharon, I could eat at Sitar for every meal. I love it that much. Taste of India has better Tikka Masala, but other than that I'm a Sitar girl all the way. We'll definitely have to do Tangredi's sometime soon. I will however not set foot in Salathai again if that is the West End Thai restaurant you had in mind. I got violently ill after eating their spring rolls and have never been back.

SalaThai...that's the name. They have the best sauce....it's a peanut and coconut sauce with the right blend of spices that make it so good. I wish I could remember the name of the dish I used to eat there all the time that has that sauce. You can get it wtih chicken, meat or vegetarian. ARGH. I can't think of the name. So sorry to hear you got sick there. :( We agree on Sitar. I'm close enough that I can run over there for their lunch buffet; an extraordinary amount of diverse food for 5.95 or 6.95. YUM.
Where do you and Tim like to go for Chinese? I'm partial to PF Changs, also on West End. Deli? Ever go to Noshville?
