Episode III Revisited

You know, when you watch it with a 101-degree fever, a good strong dose of DayQuil and a chocolate shake from Jack N The Box, it isn't that bad.

She's alive! I missed you this morning. (I'm sure Patrick would have missed you, but he was having breakfast at Pike Place.) I haven't watched Episode III yet, but we did start watching the 60 Seconds documentary. Great insight into the Lucas process.

I re-watched Episode III last week when the DVD came out. I don't think it is quite the horrible pissing on our memories of Star Wars debacle that many fan-boys make it out to be....it's better the 2nd time without any expectations. It works better even though the dialogue between Anakin and Padme is horrifically bad. For me, this is epitomized in the scene where Padme runs to lava world to confront Anakin and says, "Anakin, you're breaking my heart...." Ugh...shoot me now. But then when Obi Wan comes out and starts to spar with Anakin verbally (You did this yourself) that works. I'm not quite sure if it's an actor thing and we just have Ewan McGregor being a better actor than Natalie Portman or not...

But where was I? I don't know....
