What I'm Most Thankful For

My Mom just called.

My sister's car ran off the road and wrapped around a tree.

My sister's alive.

Mom says she's sore and bruised up, but I think she's probably not too bad, because they didn't take her to the hospital.

That's the best gift you'll receive all season. I'm glad she's ok.

Oh, thank goodness she's OK. It's always so scary when your family is involved in car accidents.

I know all too well what those calls are like. My sister has totaled 3 cars and had at least 4 other significant wrecks on top of that in her 12 years of driving.

I'm glad your sis is ok, Katherine.

Thanks to everyone for your gratitude and kindness.

She's okay, but a bit nerved about having to replace the car. Frankly, after the shape the car's in, I'm just relieved she's got the brain function to worry.

Stuff like this makes me more grateful to God than I ever thought possible.

Chad and I briefly what kind of car she should get. I think she'd do well to get something like a used Camry or Saturn VUE. I like the idea of having her in something bigger and safer.

The thing you should have put in your blog is that she STILL went to school and taught ALL DAY! I can't believe that she doesn't have a full time contract with THAT kind of dedication.
