Lost Schmost
Now, last night's Heroes was how you do an episode, my friends.
Lots of answers, a few new looming questions and some really great performances. Nothing about tattoos.
I think it's safe to say that this episode of Heroes, quite frankly, rocked.
UPDATE
Turns out there are spoilers in the comments. Be forewarned and thus forearmed....

It was good, I'll give you that. I think the past three weeks have shown that Heroes works better when the focus is narrowed to a few characters.
And I never saw the fact that George Takai was part of the company coming...great twist.
Especially when those few characters are NOT the split personality chick and her family. That's a storyline that could go the way of the Dodo.
Yeah, the Takai thing was the twist that got me the most. The next questions are:
Is he Hiro's father?
Is he hiding Hiro?
Interesting comment Michael. You're complaint about Lost has been just the opposite lately.
I haven't been watching Heros. I'm hoping to catch it on my DVR in order when they do summer reruns.
I caught myself wondering outloud why Claire's clothes didn't burn off when her skin did.
Then I loudly asserted, "Wait a minute, she's only 15! Stop thinking about stuff like that."
But I did.
I can't say that I was surprised to see that Takai is part of the company. I kind of wondered when we first saw him emerge as Hiro's father if he would have a greater role in the whole story. It seems to be a natural place for him. And I have the same questions about him/Hiro that you have.
I also agree that focusing on a few characters at a time is a lot less confusing and gives more depth and answers than when they try and include as many of the characters as possible.
Claire's clothes did burn off, just not around the fun parts! She had on some super duty bra that day!
So all of you guys are making me want to watch Heroes now as well as Lost. I don't think my Netflix queue is going to be clear of catching up on TV series again until probably ten years from now...
On another note - I just responded to your comment on my most recent bitching about Blogger and I do understand, and yours is one of the few I'll deal with Blogger hassles to read and participate no matter what. No worries there. Some others, maybe not so much. (shrug)
But KC... WordPress is free, free, free! :)
