Celebrity Discomfort
Is there anything more uncomfortable than looking at photos of celebs posing with "regular" people? The famous person generally looks like a combination of a deer in a rifle sight and a Madame Tussaud's dummy. The regular person looks like they're having the best moment of their life. I vow to never get my picture taken with any famous person, no matter how highly I regard their works. This is made easier by my vow to never have my picture taken solo, of course. I still don't need to have a memento of the time I made another person visibly uncomfortable.

The only things more pathetic are those pictures of people excitedly posing with complete non-celebrities. "Woo hoo! Lookee everybody - I got me an aut-o-graphed picture of me standin' next to the Watsons girl!"
Then there's the rock bottom of celebrity pursuit photography: The shot of cousin Randy with his hands in somebody's hand prints in some sidewalk. Yup, occupying the same space that Marlon Brando occupied thirty years ago really is the next best thing to being famous.
All that being said, why haven't you hung up that autographed picture of Charlie Daniels that I got you last year???
What about those shows when some lucky fan gets to SPEND THE DAY with their favorite celebrity??!! The fan looks happy at first, then runs out of things to say, and the celebrity just sits there with an, "I'm going to kill my agent," look on his/her face. It's excruciating for the five minutes of clips. I can't imagine enduring a whole day of that nonsense.
I'll go one lower. Have you ever seen ads for some porn star that is on the strip club circuit? You can also meet them and pay $5 or so to have your picture taken with them. What the hell do you say to a porn star? I love your work? You were great in Anal Invaders? You really had me believing you were cumming?
The glamour in lives of most celebrities is only there for a couple of hours, and there are 22 more hours in the day in which everything is really hard.
