It's Not Unu What's New, PusTom Jones

It's inadvertantly turning into "Men I Find Sexy" week. Tom Jones was knighted in Britain. While I'm a fervent anti-royalist (I think the concept of Royalty is stupid except in Heaven), I'm happy for my fellow Welshman.

One question remains: How did Bill Gates and Stephen Spielberg get knighted before Tom?

You are just begging for me to take that little piece of bait you are dangling there, aren't you? You want me to tee off on that statement like John Daly after a case of beer. Well, it isn't going to happen.

But, humor me a little. Why O Why would a system of Royalty not be stupid in Heaven as well? If monarchies are unjust on Earth, why not in Heaven as well? You've been reading the brochures for the afterlife that were written for ignorant sheepfarmers 2000 years ago haven't you? Tell me, what form of taxation will King God impose? How will the Royal Streets of Gold affect the annual tax assessment of your heavenly mansion?

Better than reading the nihilist ramblings created for the self-aggrandising of the last 200 years....

You are going to have to be more specific.

Plus, blogs haven't been around for 200 years.

Well, I broadened the scope a bit as to not offend the more nihilist bloggers among us. Such as yourself.

But there's always Bertrand Russell.

Let's just pretend I'm speaking solely of Bertrand Russell fans.
