In another life I was a lizard.
That can be the only reason that I am so happy on days like today. I love love love this hot, steamy weather. I know the rest of you hate it. And I'm slightly sorry that my utter joy brings you great misery.
(the post title is my lizard name. Not to be confused with my sister, whom I call Lizard, but only because that's part of her name. She hates the heat. Crazy person.)

Now, if I knew how to pronounce it, we'd be good to go.
Hmm... I'm stressed about the heat. My home does not have central air, as you may recall from last year's harry potter pre-release festivities. Work has A/C and I sleep with A/C in my bedroom, but a lot of the time, I'm sweltering.
But I find that the heat relaxes me. I went to a party on Saturday and had so much fun in the heat, even playing volleyball for a while. I also had a cold margarita and they played Jimmy Buffett. I felt like a cheeseburger in paradise.
As long as I don't have to sleep in the hot, steamy nighttime, I love the heat as well.
I know the rest of you hate it. And I'm slightly sorry that my utter joy brings you great misery.
That's fine, I find utter joy in cold, rainy days that bring others great misery. We're all freaks in our own right.
