Remembering An Old Boyfriend
I once dated a guy who was pretty fickle. He'd always promise to take me on dates, but then back out at the last minute. Almost every week I'd look forward to going for Burger King and a movie, only to have Friday night roll around in time for the guy to either cancel or just decide to hang out at my house.
Some days he was completely in love with me, and other days he was bored and wanted to date one of the girls at his school.
This wierd ever-changing weather reminds me of him.

Was he damp and clammy? Cuz that's what gets to me...
Unless you had a large affinity for burgers by the King, then I think we have a diagnosis of the problem.
If every dinner date involves giving your orders to people wearing paper crowns you might wonder where he was taking the other chicas.
Unless, of course, the special sauce served as some kind of stimuli
Once I dated a guy who worked at a liquor store… I don’t remember his name because we always just called him “Liquor Store.” Cheap booze and Al Green always remind me of him: )
Way back in college there was a coworker who I was always bickering with in a sharp but friendly way. You know, "You two should just admit you like each other." I finally realised it one day and asked her out.
Unfortunately, still thinking we were in the "messing with you is fun" phase I took her out to McDonalds.
Never got a second date. Sigh....
Anytime I'm in a crowd and get a whiff of cologne that smells like Polo, I'm reminded of my very first boyfriend. Who liked horses. He said he loved his horse so much, he'd drink after it.
I had another boyfriend who was big on Polo, too. (The 80's..remember?) I don't smell it a whole lot anymore, but, now and then you smell it.
Smells and songs are quite powerful as far as transporting you back.
I never really had that problem...it only took one date with me to realize you didn't want a second.
