Why is it wronger for him to do it than say...anybody?

This year, I'm partial to the Skaggs' Family's version. And Patty Loveless'.

No matter what the Rolling Stones type music snobs say, i am NOT very fond of the David Bowie / Bing Crosby version.

Haven't heard Seger's version yet.

Okay, that noise y'all heard was my head asplodin'. Just ... no.

Picky Ricky 'n' them doing "Children Go Where I Send Thee" is fun, though.

Have to count me in the anti-Bob Seger camp, period. I feel like I was drowning in Seger on the radio all during junior high and high school and I hated, hated, hated it. But to say you hated Bob Seger in small town Tennessee in the '70s and '80s would be akin to saying you were unAmerican.
