Outing People
The only person I believe should be outed is Tom Cruise, and only because he's so insufferable about everyone else. Once you start talking crap about people with a real disease it's time for some truth-tellin' from your bench.
For the record, I know who Aunt B. is. I know where she lives. I know where she works. We've met face to face on two occasions. We agree on almost nothing, but I do like her.
I have no idea what your problem is with her. I could venture a guess.
BUT YOU WILL NOT USE THE COMMENT SECTION OF MY BLOG FOR YOUR STRANGE AND SUDDEN DISCLOSURE OF HER PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Update:
Sarcastro, another mostly-anonymous Nashville Blogger has politely volunteered to pound you into oblivion. (See comments below.)
I've met him too. He could do it.

Move my comments from the Galactica to here so it doesn't look like I'm talking to the imaginary foe and/or hot cylon chick.
She is doing it at PITW and NIT, too. People are crazy.
I assumed it was that Joe guy from over at Kleinheider's.
I can't tell though. I've been digging through my sitemeter, and it looks like all the hits from around the time the post was made were local.
The mystery jerk posted on my site as "Nancy".
So uncool and uncalled for.
Could it be an admission of a deepseated personal preference, combined with a degree of self-loathing?
As in, "Nancy-boy"?
That would fit the pattern.
Nancy's IP is local. She has Comcast's cable internet service. So, it ain't that Joe guy from D.C.
Then my sitemeter is completely screwed up, or completely unsyncronised with my Blogger account. I've long suspect that's the case, though.
And it makes sense as I have no D.C. people on the sitemeter for today.
If it is the one I'm looking at, according to my thingamajig, Nancy is a Mac user with Mozilla as her internet navigator.
She also looks fat in those pants.
Mac User with Mozilla?
Odd combo.
I'm a mac user with Safari, and I'm in Hermitage, not Nashville. If it's me you're accusing.
But I do look fat in these pants.
It says Safari as well.
Like I know how to read all that techno-babble.
Just for the record:
This:
http://www.sitemeter.com/?a=stats&site=s21mycropht&visit=65&report=9&vlr=8&pg=21&rnd=2006224
Is me.
Let's try that link again.
Oops, my bad. Almost had a friendly fire incident, there. I was looking at yours, KC.
Nancy uses Windows NT.
IP Address 69.245.42.224
Brittney, do you concur?
Okay. This is wierd, and my detective skills are failing me.
And Sitemeter stinks.
The comment was made to my blog at 12:08pm. The only visitors (according to my Sitemeter) at that time were both out of towners.
I have several comcast visitors, but they were much earlier in the day.
Oddly enough, there is no one who was visiting for any length of time around 12:08 to make the comment.
Your clock must be off. Look an hour behind that maybe, or is it an hour ahead?
Or look for that IP and figure out how much your clock is off.
Sarcastro,
That's probably right as I have someone with Comcast from that same IP address visiting TCP from 12:07 to 12:35, which would fit with someone going down my blogroll and bothering folks.
I'm completely confused, because that IP doesn't show up in my sitemeter at all. The only open visitors I had at that time were from Vanderbilt or Franklin, or Atlanta or my church.
If he/she clicked through from TCP, they would still register independently on my sitemeter, wouldn't they?
That person came to me at 12:03. The comment was left at 12:05. That person was the only on my site at that time.
However, he/she stayed for 22 minutes with four page views. Am I such a glorious writer that I can stop a stalker in his or her tracks to read my crap? Where's my book deal?
My comment's not showing up. Lemme try again. I did an IP address lookup on the IP address supplied and got this:
Link
They'd better watch out, I'll kick their ass personally, if I find them.
Crap, it doesn't direct link to the IP address. Anyway, C&P it yourselves, see what you think.
My IP address searcher yielded this:
For IP address: 69.245.63.255
Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. JUMPSTART-4 (NET-69-240-0-0-1)
69.240.0.0 - 69.255.255.255
Comcast Cable Communications, Inc NASHVILLE-15 (NET-69-245-0-0-1)
69.245.0.0 - 69.245.63.255
So are they running through an anonymizer?
Exador's IP listing is slightly different that the ones from TCP and Sarcastro.
I still can't find the ones from TCP and Sarcastro in my frenchfried sitemeter.
My best guess is that this fool is Joe from D.C. whom she was arguing with at Hard Right. He is using an Anonymizer.
It only makes sense, because who else would pull something like that? The first instance of personal info was within the thread where the debate occured. Now Ivy shows a D.C.-related location.
I'm putting all my money on Joe "Can't Take the Friggin' Heat" from DC.
Anonymizers don't have Comcast addresses.
I can't believe I didn't think of this myself. It took Mrs Schwartz to point it out to me.
Comcast is a business. They don't like bad press or pissed off customers.
