Grey's Anatomy, Knitting, Lisa Patton and Me

Hah. My life coalesced into perfection as I watched Meredith and Izzy knit up a storm. I did have to suspend a wee bit o' disbelief when Izzy finished her sweater--for a large man--in one day on what looked to be nothing larger than Size 9s. Honey, even if she could work it up that fast, the finishwork alone would take at least 5 hours. Plus, don't forget the 3-hour Pheramone Wearing Treatment she gave it so that it would "smell like Izzy". Granted, that was slightly more tasteful than throwing a used pair of panties at Dying Danny. (Will he live? Depends on when his next story-arc on Supernatural is.) But still....I will christen this the Miracle Sweater.

Bravo to Channel Two, who realised they cover a broad viewing area, one which is affected differently by the weather. We go through this every Bad Weather Time, but it is very frustrating to have your escape from the weary world preempted by near-orgasmic weathercasters who are salivating over the patches of colour on the Radar. "Oooh! There may be a TORNADO!!! What Fabulous Fun!" Anyway, Channel Two WKRN didn't do that. They kept their coverage limited to commercial breaks and Kyrons. Which was fantastic. People in the path of the tornado were kept abreast of details. People whose only "tornado" over the weekend involved Vonage Customer Care & Vonage Customer Service (two different departments--Brazil, anyone?) were allowed to watch Grey's in relative peace. Everyone's happy. Also, StormTwo (or whatever it's called) wasn't glee-filled (as Channel Four usually gets). So thanks for that.

George is Callie's McDreamy? Good for them both.
