I watched last week for the first time in a couple of years. Starting with killing off Lucy, Mark's cancer, etc. it was just too Dramatic every week, and I couldn't stomach it anymore.
I'm amazed it's still on, myself. I loved it when the original bunch and even a little after Clooney left. I haven't watched it, on purpose, in a long time.

I haven't watched it regularly since Clooney left, and I pretty much stopped watching altogether when Juliana Margulies left. Now there just seems to be no point, now that no one from the original cast - except, I think, Sherry Stringfield, who doesn't count because she left for a few years - is on the show anymore.

I used to back in the George Clooney years.
I haven't seen it in a kazillion years.
I started watching this season after a couple of seasons off. Thursday nights go to ER out of default. There never is anything better on.
Although, tonight I'm going to catch the replay of last night's South Park. It's about religion and evolution.
You wouldn't be interested.
Me, I still watch it. Yeah, it's not as great as it used to be, but I do still watch, like Sarcastro said, there's usually nothing else better on.
There must be someone still watching. I gave up in the Memento-like episode....
Thursday nights have Survivor and Grey's Anatomy and CSI (oh, my!)... they're ALL better than E.R.
I quit watching a couple of years ago...i've actually jumped TO the Shark, as opposed to the ER jumping over it..
I just saw an ad for it the other night. Every time I see an ad I'm genuinely surprised that it's still on the air.

You may want to revisit ER, surprisingly enough, it has gotten better.
I was shocked to realize it was still on. How many characters have been killed off that show? Jeez.
Blood and guts. See which recurring character gets killed. Fresh, new interns to make fun of.
Also to see if it will ever finally jump the shark.
